A good Friday morning to all. Once again it has been a very slow week for me. I have had some time to see a few friends and thats aboutit. No word on school. Still no clue what I am teaching, and no one seems to be bothered by it. So I wont be either.
The only exciting things that has happened to me this week is that the Redsox are playing well and the Patriots won there first game. Sad I know.
I hope to find out some info about school this week so I can at least start planning some lessons and reteaching myself some Math that I did not do so well in back in the day. I wonder if I should tell my students that I failed Geometry in High School? Maybe that is something I should keep inside. I think its funny that I am teaching something that I HAVE NO CLUE about. Well, I have lied through most of my life whats another few years of teaching.
Thats about it this week. If anyone has any questions about anything let me know. It will give me something to write about.
All is well though, I am enjoying my quiet and free time. Take care, and until next time.
Love Dave

THis is TIffany's mom again. I read your journal entries regularly since it keeps me somewhat abreast of Tiffany's experiences too. However, I do get to talk to her about once a week, so we are updated on her particular situation. I must say, you have had some rather exciting times - no thanks to the food poisoning though! I've had that twice in my life (it was turkey both times) and it was beyond awful. Please take care and do think about giving up meat while in Cameroon.
Have to tell you that Tosh (TIffany's dad) and I went to the A's and Red Sox game while the Sox were in town this week. Much to everyone's dismay, the Sox took every dog gone game! We thought that we were going to see a good game with our Hudson pitching, but by the end of the first inning it was 3-0 the Sox. It was a terrible game, but fun to be at the park on a great night with friends. It looks as if the pennant race will be a good one!
When you and TIffany return from the PC you will have to come to San Francisco for a visit. We will take you to the Giants stadium - it is awesome.
Anyway, have a great week! Hope you figure out what you are supposed to be doing (Tiffany is having basically the same experience with the start of her school).
Adios, Ruth Okubo
